I can't do a screen shot, but I have a shield icon in the upper left corner of my phone. How can I get rid of it?

I have a Lg G3 and lately ive been seeing an Icon upper left corner . Its a little white shield left side of this little shield looks shaded in.

Hi Jen, welcome to the forums! Do you have an antivirus installed in your phone? Can get more information about that icon of you swipe down from the status bar?

Possibly the WiFi protection thing. If I connect to a public WiFi, I get a shield in notification bar. If you open notifications, look for one that mentions WiFi protection

Did you install the CM Security app? I think it puts a shield in top left corner, I think.
