Lg g3 6.0 WiFi issues

I have an lg g3 that ive just updated to marshmallow the wifi turns on by itself, have checked for solutions and found some for other devices but my device seems to lack most of the options mentioned, any body have any idea how to fix this?

Welcome to Android Central! Go to Settings>Wi-fi, tap Menu>Advanced, and make sure the option to allow scanning is turned off. If you don't see it there, then go to Settings>Location, tap Menu>Scanning, and turn it off there.

Which carrier do you have? See if they installed some "wi-fi optimizer" app, and if so, turn off the optimization (or disable the app if possible).
