The LG phone in the leaked photos is NOT the LG G4

This is pointed out by a friend of mine, who is experienced with Android and LG devices, after looking at the picture showing its baseband number.

The part you should focus on is where it says "M8936". On LG basebands, that equates CPU model and according to Qualcomm, MSM8936 is a Snapdragon 610.

By comparison, part of the baseband for the unlocked LG G3 is "M8974". According to Qualcomm, MSM8974 is a Snapdragon 801.

Speculation? The device is most likely not the flagship G4, but it may be one of it's cheaper variants.

I thought that phone looked tacky. Thank god it doesn't seem to be the flagship G4.
