Step #1 Go to your home screen
Step #2 Go to your dialer
Step #3 Dial 277634#*#
Bingo you are now in the Hide menu

Spoiler Alert! To be shocked to see a ugly Android 2.0 style UI...

How did you figure this out or better yet where did you get this info from?
Sucks that there is not as many options as there was for the G3.

Thanks will give it a try

In Marshmallow, the hidden menu is now at

*#546368#*xxx#

where xxx = device variant, e.g. 815 for the international unlocked version (H815)

Saw this on xda...

To anyone that's looking for the hidden menu's on these things and having no luck via google, and is unable to launch the hidden menu's due to permission errors and force closes, I figured them out.

Enter the code you want into the dialer. Substitute any xxx's by the model number. For VS986 that would be 986. If asked for a service code enter six zeros. That's "000000".

The only one that works on my Sprint G4 with MM is the debug one and you have to add an extra # at the end: ##33284#
You can get to APN type there, but you can't edit it to add ",dun" so that it unlocks wi-fi tethering.

I have a Verizon Marshmallow V986 G4. It is possible to get to the hidden services menu anymore?

Does anyone have any ideas about the codes for the Galaxy S7?

My issue is the Gear VR drifts left, and according to google wisdom, running the test routines for the sensors straightens out the problem. However, I'm unable to locate the service menu. This phone is through Verizon.

*#0*# does not open the service menu, nor does ##PROGRAMxxx
The phone model is SMG930VZDA, so I've used 930 in some of the commands. Still no luck. The phone is brand new.

Any ideas are appreciated. Thanks, Linda

I have a Verizon VS985 4G on software build 6.0 (marshmallow) and I've tried this on mine and doesn't seem to work. In fact I've tried a lot of different methods and nothing seems to work. Now I found out that if I use the code ##228378 (then hit the call button) it brings me to a page where I can do a device test, ELC test, or Log enable. None of those help me though.
Is there anybody else with this problem or knows the soulution to this problem?
