You mean covered under warranty or service for phone not under US warranty?
You can call LG and ask. Have the information on the box - IMEI and serial number handy.

LG USA said it only warranties phones if the imei matches a purchase in the USA. If not they will direct you to whichever LG office in the country/continent your phone was purchased in.

I think for most European H815s it will be the UK office.

This was just my conversation with an LG USA rep. Try yourself and report back since this will help others.

I'm trying to make a decision to go with the International version.

Sony for example honored the Z3c warranty for my Austrian model in the US no problem but warned it might take a while if they had to order a part. They got it back quick though, this type of support I can deal with. If I had to send the thing back to the UK somewhere that wouldn't be OK.

I just called LG USA and got a slightly different response. The rep said that LG will provide warranty support for H815's purchased in the US from an authorized dealer for one year. BUT, they might not be able to fully service phones that were manufactured outside of the US due to software or hardware differences. So, my takeaway is that H815's bought in the US from say, Best Buy or Amazon, are warrantied, but there are some issues that could require shipping them overseas for repairs.

(They maintain a database of IMEIs of all US-manufactured phones so you can call in advance of making a purchase to confirm the place of origin of a particular phone, but I assume that the H815 is not manufactured in the US.)
