Just wanted to share with you guys I was able to get my H815 running normal.
The odd thing was there are a very clear majority with no lag issue and a very clear minority with really bad issues. I went through three factory resets through the Settings menu and all three times same lag.
I was thinking hardware or digitizer issue but its definitely not it.

So what I did was a hard reset from the power off-volume down option and removed the sd card that I have had in several other phones. Then I did a complete clean install of the exact apps and accounts and wallah it works as smooth as the S6, zero lag or stutter.

So it could of been two issues, corrupted OS (maybe the hard reset option is needed from that power off side) or a corrupted sd card, where I think the phone was always scanning and over using system resource causing the lag. I'm betting its a SD card issue, and probably why most manufacturers are going away from SD storage.

In any case I just wanted to share since so many of us have the problem.

Good Luck!

Clean install of exact apps? Please elaborate as to what that means.

Clean install from the play store I assume with no data.

Posted with my awesome LG g4

Meaning factory reset without sd card and download all apps directly from play store and not backup?
Yikes....that's a lengthy process

Never hurts to download an app like A1 SD Bench to test the performance of the SD card. It's not uncommon for them to have problems.

This quote made my head spin. Not sure which "majority" is really supposed to be "majority" and which "majority" is supposed to be "minority". ;-)

But, glad your issues are fixed, so sounds like potential issue with SD cards?

Never used the SD bench Mark. Anyone know what this test revealed?

HAHA I'm with ya I meant minority

I think it could be, so many people with different versions of the G4 having issues, I'm leaning toward something a miss with SD cards

I have no idea what this means to me...

Did you have any apps installed in the micro sd card? Glad it worked! I get the minority/majority btw. I'm in the majority :)
