This sounds interesting, although I can't try it... not getting my phone till at least June 19.

Some of us at Android Authority have been using the LG G4 and have found no problems so far, but maybe you are. You can check your touchscreen performance by following these steps:

• Open the Dialer and enter 277634#*# to enter the Service Menu.
• Go to Device Test -> Service Menu – Manual Test -> Touch Draw Test – Manual.
• Now touch/tap/knock/slide on the test area (all of it) until its almost full and watch for missing registration (you will touch the screen and there will be no red mark). I repeated the test several times and almost every time I had misses.

I've given this quite a bit of thought, as much as I can considering I can't actually get the phone yet!

My lovely wife had an older iphone 3gs and the touchscreen was easy to use; she then went to an iphone 5c and we both find the screen difficult to use (I have a Note 2.) I don't think there's anything actually wrong with the 5c, I think it's just a lot less sensitive than the Note 2 and the old iphone 3gs.

So maybe it's partly a matter of what you're used to. That's why the authors of the article, as well as most people on this forum, do not find there are issues. Maybe that's why 40% of their respondents did not find issues. It's just a matter of what people are used to.

I'd love to know what phones their 60% of people, who found issues, were using prior to the G4. Maybe the S6, maybe the S6 is just more sensitive.

My wife has grown used to her iphone 5C, but when I use it I find the touchscreen sensitivity incredibly frustrating.

The XDA original article ( [Poll] Does Your G4 Miss or Unresponsive to … | LG G4 | XDA Forums ) says this works on the international H815. Someone else posted this, "That service menu option doesn't work for me On the H810 AT&T variant." Someone else wrote, "
Maybe you can try 3845#*Model# (ex: 3845#*811#)."

That did not take me to the service menu on my AT&T g4.
It was invalid.

That original code worked I just don't see an option for Device Test. The 3845 code didn't do anything

I don't think the code to AT&T's service menu has been discovered (published) yet. I don't have any touchscreen problem on my AT&T version yet (knock on wood).

I haven't had any noticeable touchscreen problems with my G4. Something I'll definitely keep my eye on from here on out though.

None of those codes work. I did find this in another site but I haven't been able to test it yet. Ignore that it says only for Samsung phones.

Solution: Fixed by downloading the free "SGS Screen Booster" app from Google Play Store. Settings that worked for me: defaults except:
(A) Set presets at bottom to optimized.
(B) Sensitivity: 43
(C) Duration to register: 2
(D) Minimum motion: 0

That app worked to make the screen more sensitive. I didn't really have a big problem, but knock code was sporadic.

I did this on my H815, I wasn't having difficulty with it before but now the thing is super sensitive. Made a big difference, hope it doesn't start turning on in my pocket now.

Did what? Did you use the dialer options menu or the app for touch sensitivity??
