LG G4 Flash Notification Randomness

I am not sure if this is an LG G4 issue, Android issue, or Apps issue, but my LED notification light will do the double blink at random times. When I say random, it means I have NO notifications. Sometimes it flashes green, sometimes blue, sometimes white.

I have clicked on all unread messages in all my apps to make sure there are no latent unread messages. I have tried restarting the phone. I do not have any Alarms enabled. I clear all my apps regularly and still get random blinks. I hope this is not a hardware issue. Does anyone have any color on this? Similar experiences? I can say this started about a week after getting the phone.. so maybe as I installed new apps, something became triggered.

I only get LED notifications when I have a message/unanswered call (two blinks about every 8 seconds-why so long...) etc, but no random ones...

It reminds me that I had this bug on the G2 (Upgraded to KitKat 4.4.2 from whatever the phone came with) when I had a calendar event and I didnt dismiss it, after an hour or so the LED would constantly be on (it only happened sometimes, not after every calendar event... some kind of bug)

I have the same issue. Will randomly blink twice. I noticed the last one happened at 12:00. I'll try and check the time the next one happens.

Same here. Not exactly sure why it's happening but im hopeful an update will take care of it.

No but I do have many calendar events. The lights blink when no event in particular is happening though. Thats why its strange.

Yeah I don't use my LED at all on this phone so far. It's just blinking all the time when there's no notification.
