How do I speak a text message?

I'm using the stock messaging app. Where is the option to let me speak the message I want to send instead of type it? I think I'm using the LG keyboard if it matters. (Whatever is stock for the Sprint phone).

I would like the same ability for typing emails in teh gmail app. I suspect the answer to one is the same as too both.

Took me a while to find also. Hold the settings button down on the keyboard. It should be on the bottom left next to the space bar. This will open an additional window where you can select voice input, hand written, and a third that I've never used.

Or you can just say "Ok Google Send Text to "name" and it will prompt you for the message itself and you don't even have to go into the SMS app...
