Can I get the Verizon VS986 to work on Telus in Canada?

Hey all,

I just got an LG-G4 (Verizon version), and I'd like to send it to my sister in Canada. She's on Telus (which I believe is also CDMA), and she's been having horrible luck with her old S5, so I wanted to send this to her as a gift.

I would assume it would have to be unlocked....but will this version work on Telus' network?

don't see why not. I used my Verizon G4 in Italy with a Italian SIM in it, and that was a GSM network. Worked great. All Verizon LTE phones are unlocked right out of the box.
