LG G4 bootloop *solved* for now lol

So I had this bootloop problem where it just kept saying the lg logo over and over again.. I had been trying to fix it by trying to hard reset it manually.. And that didn't work... So I got it to start up and i connect to lg bridge and click on.. software update.. top tab then click.. update error recovery.. low right hand side... And it will update your phone. And it worked! I mean as for now.. Everything looks good.... The only hard part is to get your phone to start up... I did that by powering on and removing battery over and over till finally I got it to start up... It only took me about less then 10 battery pulls to get it on.. I mean if you want to save your phone it's worth a try....I guess a system software didn't update correctly causing this malfunction.. My phone is working now I restarted and restarted it and it starting up fine

Yeah, I do like LG Bridge.. helped me when I got my G4... even though it was BNIB it was still Pre-owned.. the first thing I did was do an error recovery... You never know what some people have done to or hidden on, a pre-owned phone...

that's what happened to mine.. I can't even turn it on anymore.. I've tried over and over and over.. I upgraded to the v10 and kept the G4 in case it gets fixed. If I can fix it, I'm giving it to my wife.

Just earlier today it malfunctioned again..it was working fine yesterday bummer.... Sorry guys.. I guess our g4's are really done

Something tells me you have experienced the sudden death issue that some G4 users have experienced.

Take it back to LG for a replacement. They should send you a replacement within 24 hours.
