New Sprint Update for MM?

Just received notice if an update... Anyone else? I got MM back in December.

Doesn't say anything about what it is...

Hoping it fixes some of the battery issues and the "logd" issue.

Only a couple visible changes:

Splash Screen and sound are new. It now says "LTS Plus More spectrum. Better network." -- That's going to make it FASTER right there!!! ;-)

Went from LS991ZV9 to LS991ZVA

Android security patch level from 2015-11-01 to 2016-01-01

If I happen to notice anything else, I will update!

I just got the update, too.
Haven't noticed any changes ,but haven't looked too hard yet.
The one bug i hope they've addressed is the one causing the phone to turn off after taking a picture from the lock screen icon. That's been annoying. Possibly related, "photos" kept stopping. I'll see what happens post update.

I hope LG also manages to revive it's Smart Contacts and Smart Dialer that got nuked by the marshmallow update.

The "Ignore optimizations" for the battery (Doze) seem to no longer work. It keeps killing my weather app.

Sprint...I am doing the upgrade now. A new splash screen came up with Sprint LTE plus

Got it this morning too here in Virginia. So far seems good a touch faster. It says the update was for minor bug fixes. What is the lte plus all about?

NC - same thing on Sprint. New splash & exit screens, possibly a little faster on LTE (14.16Mb, so not nearly as fast as disney4life's above)

This test was done 15 miles from the last test I posted. Definitely a big jump from the update

Maybe Sprint is pushing a bunch of patches? The initial Marshmallow update sounds like it was plagued by bugs: LG G4 Android 6.0 Update Problems Frustrate Owners

By the way, folks, geographic location doesn't impact when you receive the update.

The LS991ZVA update just popped up in my notifications! I wasn't expecting one, so I came to my favorite place to see what was up! Looks like I should do a before-and-after speed test on my data network... Too bad I don't have LTE in my apartment, in the first place.

EDIT: Switched to data network from WiFi. Foot is in mouth. Proceeding with before-and-after testing.

Just an FYI the update probably doesn't do anything for the lte download speed.. I am pre- update and just got this as my download speed over lte on sprint...
