AC Question
I have an issue with a Verizon LG G4. The app "Caller Name ID" keeps the mobile data active even when on Wifi. In some locations (my house) the phone will hunt for a data signal bouncing between 3G.4G and 1X. Gets very hot and burns battery. Verizon had this app on my phone when I got it but once I realized what it was doing, I removed it. Once removed, the 4G icon went gray and battery issue solved.
The App was once again installed on my phone earlier this week. I got the notification and "removed" it as soon as I could. I got an update to Marshmallow this morning and Low and Behold, its BACK and CANNOT BE UNINSTALLED. What a CROCK... Any idea how to remove this app? Disabling and force stopping doesn't change the behavior. Short of this, is there a way to modify the apps that run on start-up?
