Had to power off & on to regain.
Called Verizon tech support.
Had to be 'assertive' and 'persistent'
But finally got a person who actually knew his stuff. He went into my phone (remotely) and enabled a 'setting' to reset my phone's data connections. Then I had to remove the battery and restart the phone.
Amazingly it worked.
Point? They can help if you keep at them.
I'm really happy with my g4. Glad to have it in top shape again.
