LG4 Merged contacts from old Win phone using CSV file Now cannot edit them

Hi I am a Newbee - Have just been given a super LG4 and managed my way round getting my contacts downloaded i.e. Export CSV from Win import into Google and then into phone but it will not allow me to edit them. I go in via the contacts button on the home menu select a contact and a window pops up saying "Allow or deny access to photos, media, and files on youru device" and have to press allow or deny. Pressing either another pop up Screen overlay detected" and forces me to settings for drawing over apps. whether I permit this or not I dont get any further and it does not change the contact screen to show an edit option. Any help very welcome Thanks
