LG G4 Quick Charge not working?

I bought a quick charger for my G4 and for some reason it won't hold the fast charging. When I plug it into my phone first it says "Charging...", then it says "Fast Charging..." After probably around 3 seconds it will stop charging as if you unplugged the wire. There is no charging lightning bolt on the battery icon or any sign of charging and the whole process repeats. This only happens with the fast charger. None of this happens when I plug in the regular charger. I swapped the wires and the same result appears. The faster charger is a brand new OEM Fast Charge from LG. Is this a problem with my phone or the fast charger? The charging process just keeps booting over and it is really annoying.

I've been having this problem ever since I bought my g4 with several different quick chargers, it's like they'll go through phases of not charging and quick charging, have you found a solution for the problem?
