Screen Replacement Screen Replacement: Easy or Difficult?

I've been living with a fracture in the screen that has gotten worse. Now it looks like a spider web of fractures.

I'm sure I can find a new screen on some website, but I'm appealing to anyone that has the experience of replacing a G4 screen and their opinion on the level of difficulty.

Also, does the digitizer need to be replaced when replacing a screen? The digitizer works fine, despite the cracks in the glass.
