When I got the phone, it paired with my 2014 Ford Focus. About a month or two ago (maybe longer) my phone said I needed a PIN. I tried 0000, 1234 and all the other PIN's I use, but nothing works.

I tried to pair it with a separate Ford and I also had issues, but it pairs with a JBL speaker.

I'm assuming the issue happened with one of the updates. Due to a back injury, I wasn't in my car for a while, so I can't pinpoint when the issue began. Also, it is current with the updates. I'm with ATT

EDIT I doubled checked, there is no code on the screen in the car.

Did you check the screen on the car you were trying to pair? Did it show a pairing PIN number? Usually when this connection happens both devices show the number and just ask you to confirm you're seeing it in each device, but maybe now it's asking you to type it in to confirm?

Mmm... weird. Is there anything about a PIN on your car stereo's manual? I've seen some that aren't the usual 0000 but 8888

I'll go back and look through the manual, but it's strange that it happened out of the blue. If I can't figure it out, I may reset the phone.
