Empty Device Trash on LGG4

A

AC Question

Device is low on space. When deleting items, receiving message stating device trash is full and item will be permanently deleted. How do I empty my device trash on my LG G4?

Welcome to the forums. Android isn't supposed to have a trash folder. But, LG may have put one there for some unknown reason, and it may be hidden. You can try connecting the device to your PC to see if you can see it and empty the folder, but not deleting the entire folder.

Some third-party file browsers implement a "recycle bin".
Check your file browser app to see if its "trash" needs to be emptied.

I don't recall that my G4 has ever mentioned 'trash'. It sometimes suggests clearing temporary files and unused apps, but that's a part of Smart Clean.

Check Google's Photos app. On the front page there's going to be a "Your trash can is almost full" on there and an option to empty the trash.
