Why won't my LG G4 start up?

[AC Question]

I got a refurbished LG G4 a few months back and it has suddenly started having problems. Early last week it randomly restarted itself (didn't even touch it - I was driving and was using it to stream Spotify over my car's Bluetooth, which I do every day). It was fine when it came back on. Yesterday it did the same thing whilst I was browsing Facebook only it now gets stuck at the loading screen. It keeps restarting over and over and occasionally it will manage to properly power on for a few minutes before cutting out and getting stuck in the same loop again. I can't turn it off or do anything except taking out the battery - I've tried to get it into bootloader so I can do a factory reset but it won't even make it that far. Very frustrating!!

I would welcome any suggestions on what I can do to get it working again, as it's a very expensive brick at present!
