I haven't been able to get out and shoot anything (been home with flu like cold) but here is a shot of my desk with fluorescent lamp on then with no light but the kitchen light behind me two rooms away.

Can someone tell my why the uploader turns my pictures landscape? It is in the proper orientation on my laptop. I have no idea why it is uploading this way.

I just threw these into Russell's article on the two cameras, but I thought I would show the comparison here:

I'm still playing with the popout stuff. I'm more of a framer than an artsy guy, so we'll see.

no filters, picture was taken on my desk, the only lighting was coming in the window to my right (I actually closed the blinds a bit because at first I had too much light coming in), and I just cropped a bit to get rid of excessive background.
