Static speaker sound?

Hi all,

Whenever I watch any Youtube video, my phone will produce a loud static crackle noise. However if i play sound in any other app like spotify or a game, the static sound does not occur?

Any ideas why this might be?

yes. i agree. for me it only happens on speaker phone when talking to someone over phone line. i amnreturning it fornthis reason alone.

I have not had any problem with Static sound, speaker works great.

After trying everything, I cannot resolve this issue. However, it only occurs when watching YouTube videos

Have you tried going to Settings -> General -> Apps -> Youtube -> Strorage -> and tried clearing cache and data?

Another option might be to follow the same steps, only this time while on the YouTube app info, clicking the 3 button thing in the upper right corner and uninstalling the updates.

I have tried that before and just done so now and it has no effect at all. The problem still remains.
