Locked vs Unlocked Question

I have a Verizon G5 that I'm going to be selling shortly, and I want to advertise it properly (moving to a Pixel XL). I saw on eBay that some are "unlocked" and others are not. I did some googling, and read something from Phandroid that said if I have a Verizon G5, it is already "unlocked" from the factory. Can anyone here confirm this? I just want to make sure that when I sell it, I advertise it properly. All previous phones I have sold have always just been for Verizon, but if my phone is truly unlocked, it would open up the market a little bit. My phone is in mint condition, and fully paid off at this time.

I'm inclined to think it is unlocked, but since it's paid off, you can call Verizon to check and make sure. Let them know why you want it unlocked.
