Lg g5 camera

Hey i have lg g5 h850 and i dont know how is it a 16 mp camera if the file is only up to 3 mb! Shouldn't it be more than 10 mb each pic? When i zoom in it doesn't look like it was taken from a 16 mp camera i tried to find it in settings but i cant find the option for it to be 16 mp! Does anybody know anything? Why?!!

Try manual mode. I don't know how to adjust to make the pics look better ,though. It simply is not a DSLR. Thats why.

Make sure you have it set to manual and the picture format to RAW JPG.

The 16 MP camera is selected when the icon shaped like a rectangle with one triangle inside is green otherwise the camera selected is the wide angle 8 MP.
