Just bought an unlocked LG G5 (H860) Dual SIM phone off Amazon. Got both SIMs (work and home) activated through AT&T.
When SIM1 is set to mobile data, I can only send/receive calls/text on SIM1; SIM2 shows "no service". If SIM2 is set to mobile, I can only send/receive calls/text on SIM2; SIM1 shows "no service".
From Settings > Networks > Mobile Data, when I enable mobile data on one SIM, the other flips to disable, and vice versa.
Do I need to have both SIMs enabled on mobile data? I assumed that I should at least be able to receive calls/text on either SIM regardless of which SIM is set for mobile data. I know that AT&T removed their 2G service in Jan'17, but the phone specs shows it should support 3G. I'm also assuming if I have mobile data on SIM1 enabled (4G?), that SIM2 would at least be enabled for 3G?
What am I missing?
TIA,
Colin
