Samsung also had sweet deals when the S7 came out. You could choose a VR headset or the S2 watch. Plus you could get a wireless charging pad for free. I'm sure they will do that again with the S8. LG is giving out $300 in freebies to those buying the G6 is S Korea.

Yep, Samsung gave me (3) 256gb cards during the Note 7 debacle. I sold them all and bought a 50" Samsung 4k on Black Friday, completely paid for by the proceeds from the cards. I'll take free anytime. If they want to have more recalls, I'll be glad to play again.

I thought you weren't getting an S8 due got the battery? I also thought I saw you say on iMore you prefer your iPhone versus dealing with Android? I'm confused .

Oh I get it. I just get confused by your stance sometimes because you sound so firm. 1 month ago today you said "I am sticking with iPhones for a long time" due to updates and now are about to swap to a G6 or S8 (knowing you I would bet money on you going for the S8) .

I'll still keep my iPhone. I just want an Android to compliment it. If I get bored of my 7+, I'll switch to the Android and vice versa.

Not sure if it's just for T-Mobile users, but the time to register to redeem the free Google Home is on April 7th the earliest. Set yourself a reminder if you've already picked up your G6.
