Something tells me LG did not intend to announce an upgrade for the myTouch Q. It was the only phone tied to a US carrier that was mentioned in the post, and I find weird they'll update the myTouch Q and not update the touchscreen-only version of the same phone.

The cat's out of the bag now so they better upgrade the myTouch Q or we'll hold that against them, and everyone knows LG doesn't need any more bad publicity because of failed updates..

How does one get the upgrade? Do they send it to your phone? Do you have to go into a carrier's store?
