Re: Lg G Pro compatible replacement charger
You can use pretty much anything to charge your phone, but what you use will depend on how fast it charges.
If you plug it into a USB 2.0 port on your computer, it will charge at a rate of 0.5mAh (or, simply - quite slow)
If you use a charger from a Galaxy S3 it will probably charge at a rate of 1.0mAh (a bit faster, then using a USB port) - check the ouput rating on the charger itself
If you have a charger from a tablet (for example a Nexus 7) most of those will charge at a rate of 2.0mAh, which is the fastest. Again, check the output on the label of the charger.
And of course, if you have the phone turned off while charging, this will speed things up as well, no matter what you use to charge - simply because if it's on, some of the charge going into the phone is going right back out to keep the phone running.
Short version - unless you're using some cheap, off-brand charger from eBay it doesn't matter what you use. It's recommended but not critical to use the charger and supplied cable - and I've used all manner of chargers and cables to keep my Galaxy Nexus phone and Nexus 7 tablet charged, including a USB port from my computer.
