help! lost root access on lg g pro e 980

Hi All,

here is the thing I root my lg pro e980 to cyanogenmod kitkat everything was working fine and then I got the upgrade to unofficial lollipop . once I upgraded to lollipop I lost root access and I do receive the updates but im unable to upgrade to the newer version. help me!

Do you have a custom recovery installed on the phone?

You don't root the phone, you root the ROM. When you get a stock update, the update isn't rooted. You'll have to root again.

Could you please explain your answer?
how to root lg optimus g pro e980 android version 5.1.1 ? as the IORoot bat file does NOT run when 5.1.1 is detected.
