Does anybody know if LG Messaging app (stock on the new Optimus UI) has threaded group SMS capabilities? I am looking for similar functionality that is available on Motoblur devices (Maxx, Razr, Droid 4 etc), as well as all Blackberries, Windows Phones, and iPhones but for whatever reason is not built into the stock SMS app on Android.

I am aware that Go SMS, Handcent, and VZW Messaging app offer similar functionality, but are quite buggy and slow which doesnt make them viable options at this point. I am also not looking for a third party solution like GroupMe, WhatsApp, G+ Messenger or anything that somebody on a non Android OS would have to install.


Does anybody know if this phone has that capability?

I am able to send group messages. Haven't tried it yet to see if responses stay in the same thread but it does allow you to text multiple users at the same time.
