I just bought the Galaxy S3 on Sprint, but am considering returning for the Optimus G. My primary concern is battery life, since a fast phone that can't last throughout the day is useless to me. The S3 with Jellybean barely cuts it at the moment.

Is there an expectation that the Optimus G will have better (or at least the same) battery life? I see it has a slightly longer life battery, and supposedly the IPS screen does not draw as much power, but I'm not sure how the quad core does with power usage.
