    Default USB Tethering Option

    Has anyone tried out the USB Tethering option in the settings? Is this something that we can use for free or would we be charged for turning it on? I was thinking of using my phone's data as a secure line for me to make purchases and such when I'm visiting families and friends. I found some posts on the Sprint forums that says we are legally allowed to tether even without paying for the hotspot plan and also using third-party sources. I'm just curious if this built-in system for tethering is free or if I have to go looking around on the market for something suitable.

    If you are rooted there are wifi tethering apps in the Google playstore. Or some Roms come with wifi hot spots.
