Mic works on speakerphone but not private call

I recently replaced my charging port circuit board. I am it back together however people can not hear when when I take it off speakerphone. Dead silence. Any ideas what this might be?

I don't know if speaker phone uses both, but I believe the phone has 2 microphones. Perhaps the one that is turned on in private call mode has a broken wire or trace... if speaker phone turns on both, this would seem reasonable to me. Especially since the mic used by private calling would be at the bottom of the phones, near where the charging port is.
