Rooting seems 50/50, from all the articles I've read.
1. Will it even work on my phone?
2. Wondering if an SD partition is worth the trouble. Is it effective in moving bloatware to SD?
3. Is there a working app for tethering?

These are really the only changes I'd like to make, as I like having a phone vs a paperweight. KitKat seems to be a good, OS, but the RAM blows... Any input on this would be appreciated.

Try Framaroot or search for safe-rooting solutions.

It's
