ok another stupid question. i'm going through android tips and tricks and one of them is calendar search and it says to do this:
Built-in: Tap Home > Menu > Search > Searchable items . Calendar ON/OFF.
I just tried it and when I click on search in menu nothing happens. Am i doing something wrong?

when you're talking custom roms the best way to do it is to just do it fresh and do it right. the instructions do state something like you need to erase all of your cache and all of your data from the boot up menu.

It's launcher2 (vanilla android launcher from AOSP) stripped down a lot to get rid of some crap then themed to bring it to life rather than the black and white. If you can't tell ... me and Beezy don't like how everything is just boring black and white in Android lol. Originally Posted by kalex1114

On V1 of ThunderROM my Angry Birds app had an issue with not being able to open... Right when I selected it a prompt would pop up and ask me if I wanted to force close it because an error had occurred. Right before trying to open it, the mobilepersonalapps requested access and I finally allowed it access to whatever it wanted. Could this issue be related to the ROM, the mobilepersonalapps requesting permission, or does this app just act like this sometimes?

I have tried everything to download the new rom v1.2 and the first time it finished but it wad messed up and then tried again then every time its saying unsuccessful download tried airplain mode then wifi and still no go could someone post the file again or pm me with the file thanks and thanks for the guys who made this great rom appreciate all the hard and ignored girlfriends I hear ya lol :-)

Updated link to be mediafire. They were having issues earlier with their uploader so we used 4shared but it's fixed now.

I have a question about Sprint navigation. Usually Sprint preloaded Sprint Navigation on all of their phones and its actually pretty refreshing not to see sprint bloatware on Optimus but it also presents a little problem. I read through the manual and found out that in order to get Sprint Navigation I have to install Sprint ID and then I'll be able to download navigation app. Here is the problem as Sprint ID is pretty useless, this feature was removed from ThundeROM and now I have no idea how to get my hands on the Sprint navigation app? Not sure why but I actually prefer it over Google maps navigation.

Very slight issue with this ROM that I noticed today. I went outside of my service area and started roaming. The roaming icon is black against the dark taskbar (which I love by the way). Makes it really hard to see. Very small detail, but a detail none the less.
