    I used mybackup root.

I could do it from titanium... (though it will likely be tomorrow before I do it. Too many things on my plate tonight)

Using lego rom and gingerbread theme. It won't allow me to change the background to something other than the snow (default) one unless I use a live wallpaper. I am trying to use the thunderom default background. Only thing I can think of that I may have done differently than anyone else is I used titanium backup with thunderom then restored with lego... Anyone else experience this? Any solution is greatly appreciated. I like this theme but prefer the other background to this one.

EDIT: I rebooted into recovery and reflashed the theme and it solved the issue. It rebooted with the Thunderom background.

I'm thinking about how I want to handle it. It's not common practice to sticky a ROM unless there are very few ROMs in which case a ROM thread is going to dominate the #1 position so you sticky it. Because there were 2 ROMs, i stuck them both. Now that there are 3 .... were getting into an area where i may need to make decisions. I'll figue it out sooner or later

How about a stickied "ROM" thread with links to all of the rom threads?

Just wondering about the broadband version number in settings. Still shows as version 8 for me.
Hopefully this isn't a repeat, I try to read every post.
The ROM and concept is amazing btw. Loving it!

Hey just wanted to say mad props to all the devlopers for all this awsome stuff.

Now to something a little more serious. I've been running ThudeRom 1.5 now for about 3 weeks with no real issue other than some sd card unmouts. So I figured I'd order a new card, and with that new card I'd like to give Lego a try, but I would like to know if there is anything i NEED to transfer off that the old card in order to play, like my original nand backup or anything.
    Thanks everyone!

ThundeROM stores ringtones on the sdcard to free up space, so if you simply swap out cards, you won't have any ringtones until you either copy them over to the new card or flash another ROM.

Had this happen yesterday when I rooted/flashed my nephew's phone yesterday. Fixed it by simply powering off, leaving it off for a few minutes, then powering up. Hope it works for you as well.

got bored and since a few people have mentioned they liked the "lego rom boot animation" eltrutgnik did i thought i would make it into a loadable (working) bootanimation ... so here it is..it maybe a bit choppy but this is from reworking the image (gif) that was posted (resizing and making into an actual boot-animation)

to use...there are 2 ways to use it.

    A. Use ADB
    B. Use Root Explorer

    ADB METHOD-
    1. download the zip file DO NOT UNZIP IT
    2. Hook up phone (usb) go to SDK and run it..
    3. Go to SDK files. (mainly under Android)
    4. then go to the file "platform-tools"
    5. place the zip file "bootanimation.zip" in platform-tools
    .....
now pull up CMD (command) screen
change directory to get to ADB
**might be something like... cd c:\android\platform-tools\
    then type in:::

    adb remount

    adb push bootanimation.zip /data/local

    adb reboot

(takes a few seconds and ull notice ur phone restarts..watch it and should see the legorom bootanimation )

    to use Root Explorer..
    1.download zip file.. (bootanimation.zip) don't unzip.!
2.move to ROOT of SD CARD
    3. go to root explorer on ur phone..
    4. sdcard
    5. find rootanimation.zip (long press and copy it)
    6. go back go to /data/local and paste
    7. reboot and should be good to go..

..note..this is not a splash screen..
will have a lego rom splash screen soon.

hmm try this step by step..i may of missed typed in my earlier post...(plus im used to using ADB, so if these steps don't work..give me a bit and ill help fig whats going on to help you).

Add the bootanimation.zip to the root of your SD-Card
**Unmount your device from the computer or remove USB connection**
Open Root Explorer application on your device, press “sdcard” and locate bootanimation.zip
Long press on bootanimation.zip and choose “Move”
Hit back button once and locate “data” folder.
    Open “data” then “local”

If your /data/local/ folder already has a bootanimation.zip then Hit “Paste” which should be an option at the bottom of your screen
If there is already a bootanimation.zip file, overwrite it
*Back out of Root Explorer, reboot your phone, and you are complete

    ****If there isn't already a bootanimation.zip file...
There is a search function in Root Explorer which can find it. Or, go straight to /system/media/
Once you find it, return to your to your SD card, long press on the bootanimation.zip that you downloaded and select “move” one more time. Now navigate to the folder which is holding your current bootanimation.zip and do the above instructions (as if bootanimation.zip was already there)

TAny eta on an update just out of curriosity. Seems like in the past pages there has been quite a few issues brought up but as soon as talk starts bout boot animatipns n new lernals it just kinda stops there. I wish I could remember most of the onesi have and its a day to day issue. If it wasnt for having to do another full wipe id go back to nrom and then having todo another full wipe to get back lego when u release an update. I appolgize to you gentlemen because I know you guys have worked hard on this and spent countless hours and I do appreciate it but I just feel nrom and even the older versions of thunderom were way much better and this has so much potential to blow them away.

And not tochangesubjects so fast but iirc some one wad talking about gingerbresd being released in feb, once it is do you guys have any plans for it

    Ok, so I've performed a re-install. I'm using Beezy's 748 kernel this time around... I've re-installed applications (rather than using a backup/restore...)

(use astro to back them up, then copy them down to my pc, then do something like for %x in (*.apk) do adb install "%x" and bam...)

I've re-input passwords... (only real issue with that method is that they don't show up in the market...)

Oh, and at this point, the phone's running cool and fast...

Have a strange bug here. I've been using ThundeROM religiously since I got my Optimus for free because of an epic fail by Best Buy. Today I logged on to AC and noticed Lego ROM so I installed it. Everything is working properly except for one thing. When you use the Pattern lock screen and swipe an incorrect pattern, the phone reboots itself.

It's a known bug caused by reboot mod. Working on it. For now don't use the pattern lock screen or be really precise!

After I paste the boot animation. When I reboot I get the sprint animation, then a black screen, the android logo disapeared, and then it fully boots.

    Default Excellent ROM!

I am running Lego with Gingerbread theme, Beezy kernel, with JIT and stagefright. Phone has never run so smooth and looks exactly how I want it.

Thanks for the awesome teamwork on this one!

    update:

    updated legorom bootanimation..

(take the "bootanimation.zip" and move to "platform-tools")
(in ADB rem. to change directory to platform-tools )
    adb remount
    adb push bootanimation.zip /data/local/
    adb reboot

if that doesn't work and you get a black screen where the bootanimation should be then..try
    adb push bootanimation.zip /system/media/

still working on a flashable zip for those who don't like ADB.
