you make a good point. i noticed some times on my phone now my battery drains fast. like last night had a 50% charge when i went to bed then when i woke up it was dead. what could the cause of this be and how can i fix.

Looks like you need to find the APK first though. You might be able to restore it with TiBu. YMMV.

Strange about the power button. When I hold the power button down I get options for silent mode, airplane mode, reboot, and power off. They all work fine for me. If my phone is plugged in and I choose power off it will reboot, but other than that it shuts down. Anyone else having this issue?

Audio problems are being worked on. This includes wired and wireless headsets, phone ringing throw the speaker instead of earpiece, etc.

Yeah. I had the phone plugged in at the time. I just figured it was a cm7 glitch. Its not a deal breaker for me. Lol. Happy to have mms and hoping to see wired headset. You are doing a bunch by yourself. I guess it helps to have a job as a dev...

You can use theme chooser in the adwlauncher settings. Works perfect for me. Plenty of themes to choose from....

I use golauncher.

For starters, Great work, ath3nos! I'm so happy to see someone putting forth effort to get a good fully functional GB on our Optimus S's! Secondly, I flashed it yesterday and have come across a feew little bumps. Apps are randomly closing without even displaying the FC warning. Just shutting off and going to he home screen. The phone itself rebooted twice randomly but everything else is fairly smooth! Just thought you would want people to post what problems they've encountered. Keep up the good work and I can't wait to see what else you have in store for us

My only request is theme Chooser! I tried tiny, didnt work, pulled from zefies rom file along with the deodexed file and tried installing manually through root explorer, didn't work...

Theme chooser will be put back in soon. Trying to get the ringtone issue resolved first. First try this morning resulted in a nice boot loop, lol. The LG logo is pretty after you stare at it for 20 minutes, heheh.

Suspense and drama is my life lately, lol. The suspense of watching code compile and wondering if your changes will work is bad enough, let alone everything else in life. I figure you guys could use a little suspense in your lives too

Just wanted to give a quick update on the next build. It may be a day or 2 yet. However, with that long wait I believe another developer has worked out the ringing through the earpiece instead of speaker issue and also the wired headset being muted when in-call. I figure that it would be worth the wait to get these fixes in before I released anything. At this point I am sort of waiting on him and a few others to resolve some issues before I get into the code much more. Give a big shout out to mik9 and blarf of CyanogenMod Forums.

Sorry, no. Not this ROM. Running Reborn for the time being until this ROM gets a few more kinks out.

That is fantastic news. Glad to see you aren't working alone. I think Nick is working on a Gingerbread rom now too so maybe he could be a resource for you as well.
Anyway, is the wired headset fix going to do anything to fix bluetooth? That is honestly the last thing that this Rom doesn't do that I need it to. Other than that its my daily driver... so thanks again for keeping CM7 going!

Quick question: is the device identifier (or whatever the Android Market uses to ID your phone for compatibility checks) off in this ROM? I'm trying to download something from the Android Market that has always worked for me on previous ROMs, but the Market is telling me that my device is not compatible with the app.

First, are you overclocked? If so, what speed?

I don't use a widget. I just go to settings, wireless, tethering and hotspots, and enable it there.

No overclock here, min 245 Max 600 but I haven't tried the settings enabler
