Just Works ROM v1 - On Hold Until Further Notice

I have place my ROM on hold for right now everyone, I need to read up just a bit more... I will release my kernel and recovery for you guys to test out. Sorry about the ROM though...

Not wanting to sound rude or disrespectful to your work, but you might want to check your grammar (and syntax) in the UI. Personally I would never continue after that introductory screen. Just be brief and correct. You also don't need to brag about your software to the user who has downloaded it and about to run it. Again, no offense intended.

It's a bunch of crap, the guy has been blowing smoke the whole time. He's been working on it for 11 years and won't even post up a screen shot.

The part I don't get though, is why all the bs? What's the point?

I wasn't able to compile it, I have it slapped together and all I need to do it run it within Visual C++ but nothing is really cutting it.

Not to be a ~~arse~~ jerk, but you do know that you can't compile for Android in Visual C++, right? Nor for the ARM architecture.

You wanna compile natively for Android? Well you need the NDK for one. And a decent toolchain. One is included in the Android NDK, but I prefer the CodeSourcery toolchain.

EDIT: Also, where is that recovery and kernel you stated was going to be released?

not to sound skeptical about a project that one day says "i know you guys think im nuts but this is forreal" and the next day "on hold til further notice". i hope my doubt are wrong but i guess only time will tell.

@OP - If you want to release anything make sure source is available as Jerry indicated per GPL agreement (might want to brush over that prior to releasing anything). If you decide you want to release something, just report this thread asking for it to be opened and I'll do so.
