It took me awhile but I love it now. With Swype, I don't have to ever use landscape mode; portrait is fine.

Yeah I always use portrait mode with Swype. It's kind of bad with predicting the word I'm typing, so I always have to use the suggestion bar, but it's way faster for me than using any other keyoard. Prior to the 3.0 update I used SlideIT, that worked awesome for word prediction. SwiftKey X also worked alright, but anything non swype-y just goes slow for me :P
