    i seen this video on youtube and i was wondering if this is a good way to root a lg optimus s? im a noob and it looks easy please leave feed back

    Not exactly no. Gingerbreak itself is the kernel exploit applied to gain root, generally this would be done from a terminal. Gingersnap is a pc app designed to automate the process of utilizing gingerbreak.
