Camera issues

I've looked around and can't find a solution for my problem, see I do tattoos and the 2.2 camera is to dark to take good photos, but I notice if I use a Cm7 rom the camera has an exposer setting. Is there a way I can find a workable method to incorporate the cm7 camera with say reborn or some other rom? Till then I'm forced to nand jump from one rom to another just to take pictures of a better quality. I'm sry for such a dumb question cause I know you can't mix cm7 with other roms, but here's to hope I guess.

have you looked into any of the cams on the market?

Yeah but they don't increase the light intake so the pic is to dark, saddly.
