Removing Cm7 help

Hi, I was in the process of removing root from my phone so I could install official 2.3 when i ran into some trouble. I was able to get stock recovery and remove root but my phone still boots with cm7. I have no idea how to get rid of Cm7 and get stock firmware. Any help? Thanks

which stock recovery are you on? V9 or VD ? you want V9 to preserve your ability to root. if you have V9, download the update.zip from the HOW TO ROOT VH thread and place it in the root of your SD card, then make sure your in recovery and go to install from update.zip
