GB Update

I was able to download the GB update via the link some.posted and was able to flash it..the only.thing is the radio and/or signal didnt work..somebody help me with this one

No I wasnt running stock..reborn rom. I was able to flash it via sd card because I downloaded it from a share site like 4share

did you flash from stock RECOVERY ? Which ROM are you currently on? ( VH radio only works with GROM and stock gingerbread) otherwise no data or 3g, nothing

Revert to V9 recovery, flash , root (I think that's the order I did it in), then install Xionia.

Personally I think it is much easier just do it all from the rooting ZVH thread in my signature because all the pieces are included and any complex commands are done by scripts.

There is a process to this, you need to research and read the stickies and threads before just flashing a file.

Is that THE official Sprint update in your link? It seems I missed getting the OTA update (before Sprint stopped pushing it) since I just reverted to stock just yesterday.

I know of the problems... I still want to do the official update.

Thanks. And I'm guessing that since I'm on ZVD (unrooted), I'll need to go back to V9 recovery using the KP500 thread before flashing this update.zip?

No, that is not correct. Root your ZVD first, then follow the instructions in the Rooting ZVH thread. Everything is covered there, including links to rooting your ZVD.
