*****By ALL, I mean that I will create LST for the MOST used and unique ROMs. If you do not see LST listed for the ROM that you are using, please update your Baseband and switch to another ROM.

The Lifesavers Theme (LST) will be resumed next week. I have been busy with Clarinet lessons and such that I have been busy. I got bored of being just a couch potato and a ROM flasher that I decided to recreate this theme with the most ROMs that I can find.. That are most popular that is.

NEW! Starting LST for MORE Popular and Widely Used ROMs!: I will also be starting LST for all most popular ROMs including CM7, CM9, MIUI, and BOTH Sense 2.1 (Hybrid) and Sense 3.5 ROMs for the Optimus S. If you would like to see LST in a ROM, just let me know via PM and I will create a Lifesavers Theme based on the ROMs framework and status bar in the next release.
LST 1.2.2 Beta now compatible with CyanogenMod 7.2! Also, we have some bad news...Original Flavor has been discontinued due to a status bar bug that I can not seem to work around. Most ROMs now do NOT have Theme Chooser in them.. In fact, the ONLY ROM for the Optimus S that has Theme Chooser is CyanogenMod 7 by thekraven, so Original Flavor will be started again NEXT WEEK to work with OTHER ROMs. ---------- Sour Flavor is still in production, and will be updated for every build is put out for the ROMs... Sorry for the inconvenience.

Introduction:
I have came up with a new breed of theme: Lifesavers! The Theme gives the LG Optimus S a whole new feel, giving you the feel you really want.
Also, the term "Lifesavers" is not meant to infringe the actual candy "Lifesavers", so please don't make it out to be that way. I gave it the name "Lifesavers" because that is the first thing that popped in to my mind when I made the theme.
This is my FIRST theme, so if you don't like it, please keep comments "PG Rated". Thanks...

Some Important Information Before We Start:
YOU MUST BE FULLY ROOTED TO INSTALL EITHER SOUR OR ORIGINAL LST! If you are not rooted, it will NOT work.
ALSO, THIS THEME, BOTH SOUR AND ORIGINAL LST ARE ONLY DESIGNED FOR THE OPTIMUS S's CM7 by thekraven BECAUSE I BASED THE THEMES OFF OF thekraven's FRAMEWORK! WITH THAT SAID, THE ROM WILL NOT BOOT UP IF YOU TRY TO USE THIS THEME WITH ANY OTHER ROM! PLEASE BEWARE OF THIS!

Lifesavers Theme 1.2.2 (12/16 version) - Lightened the "Download" or "Progress" bar, as well as the scroller and over-scroll glow a little bit; Also, lightened the "pop-up windows" up a bit (it was dark and hardly visible before); Added a message at the end of the notification bar that says "Lifesavers Theme 1.2.2"... Also fixes the Lock-screen bug.
Lifesavers Theme 1.2.1 (12/10 version) - Fixed the window animation to "bounce" as specified in UOT; Top Bar Text color switched to yellow.

Known Bugs:
Lifesavers Theme 1.2.2 (12/16 version) - Some of the sliders have been reverted back to the default Orange color, but for the most part, they have been left alone; The CyanogenMod style progress wheel has reverted to Fro-yo wheel (will be fixed in 1.2.3); The "bounce" window animation has reverted and probably will never return with LST;
Lifesavers Theme 1.2.1 (12/10 version) - The "lock-screen pattern" lockscreen is NOT recommended for use with LST 1.2.1 because I accidentally made the color show 100% on the lockscreen, making it very difficult to use... The PIN and Password Lockscreens as well as all of the CM Lockscreens are NOT affected... Also, the "Ubuntu" font pack did not copy over. If you want to use LST 1.2.1 with the Ubuntu font, please download "Font Installer" from the Android Market.... Also, there is ANOTHER bug that SOMETIMES reboots the system when turning USB Mass Storage Mode ON on all LG Optimus S's. This doesn't hurt the phone, but can get annoying at times. My team doesn't know if it is a bug in thekraven's CM or if it is a result of installing the LS Theme.

As of 12/16, there is only one version of LST in production, and it is called "Sour Flavor", which is an .apk file that can be installed (works with Theme Chooser). By the way, you need to check the MD5 Checksum's Immediatly after download to ensure that no one has altered the file in any way. The MD5 Checksums are as final below.
Also, ALL of the LS Theme files are held under MY personal Dropbox, so there is no need to worry about corrupted files.

What you HAVE to do when thekraven releases an update to CyanogenMod:
When thekraven releases an update, Sour will be posted on MY thread. After you install the update (hopefully backed up apps using Titanium Backup), Uninstall the LST that is currently on your phone (do this after the update) -- it will be listed like something like this "com.uotkitchen.theme" in your Applications Setting in Settings. Tap it, Tap "Uninstall", then "Uninstall" again. Once, you've done that, come here and update to the latest version of LST!

FAQ's
Q: HELP!!! I WANT TO REVERT BACK TO MY STOCK THEME, AND I INSTALLED ORIGINAL FLAVOR! HOW DO I DO THAT???
These directions are only for users installing the Original Flavor of LST that is ONLY available for the 12/8 build of CyanogenMod.
A: Simple. You were supposed to copy over the two files to your SD Card when Installing Original like it says in the directions. If you did, just use adb to push the files to their appropriate places in the system...OR you could restore the Nandroid Backup that we made before we installed anything.

Q: HELP! I tried to flash the Original Flavor file like it says and it froze my system up when it was booting up! How do I fix this?
A: First, calm down!
...next, just take the battery out of the phone, leave it out for about 3-5 seconds, if you don't it will just turn right back on, all by itself (seriously, it will). Then, hold down Volume Down > HOME > and Power. Let em' go when you hit the LG logo. Then, just carefully scroll down to "Backup and Restore". If you followed the directions, you should have a Nandroid backup on your SD Card. Try to restore the Nandroid Backup. If you get an error like "MD5 Mixmatch", then you're going to have to re-copy the thekraven's CM7 back over to the SD Card... then, just use recovery to re-flash it. Everything will be okay!

Install Instructions:
For Original Flavor (ONLY for the 12/8 build of CyanogenMod):
- Download the zip file to your computer and copy it to your phone via USB or AirDroid (AirDroid does not require you to use USB! It's wireless).
- On the phone, navigate to /system/app and copy "SystemUI.apk" to your SD Card, this is for if you want to revert back... Do the same with "framework-res.apk". Framework .apk file is found in /system/frameworks. DO NOT SKIP THIS STEP!!!
- On the phone, TURN OFF USB Storage Mode (USB Mass Storage Mode on some devices)
- Turn off the phone.
- Hold the Volume Down, HOME, and Power Buttons until the STOCK LG Logo appears.
- Your phone will now be booted into custom recovery (I recommend Xionia)... Make a NANDROID Backup. DO NOT SKIP THIS STEP!
- DO NOT ERASE DATA! DO NOT ERASE ANYTHING UNTIL I SAY!
- Erase the D something or another cache , as well as the cache on the MAIN MENU... just to be safe, not sorry.
- Navigate to the following: "Install Zip from SD Card" > "Choose Zip from SD Card" > Then, Navigate to where you put the zip file....
- Push the menu button on the Optimus S to flash the file.
- When the script has completed running, keep pushing the BACK button until you get to the MAIN MENU of the custom recovery.
- Highlight "reboot device" or "reboot phone" in the custom recovery's main menu.
- Push the menu button to successfully reboot your Optimus S! Congrats! You are now running the Oringinal Flavor of the Lifesavers Theme by PatrickAkridge!
For Sour Flavor Theme:
- Push the .apk file over to the SD Card via AirDroid, adb, or USB.
- On the phone, TURN OFF USB Storage Mode (on some devices it is USB Mass Storage Mode).
- Right Quick, TURN OFF the phone and boot into recovery by holding Volume Down > HOME > and Power... Then, make a Nandroid Backup! DO NOT SKIP THIS STEP!
- Once the Nandroid Backup is successful, reboot the phone and follow along with the rest of the directions.
- On the phone, use Astro, Explorer, or File Manager to find the .apk file on the SD Card (I hope you didn't rename the file).
- In the File Manager or whatever you are using, tap the file and if it asks to Install or View it, tap "Install".
- Tap "Install" on the screen. A progress bar will be shown in the first few seconds.
- Push the HOME button.
- Tap the apps drawer button.
- Navigate in CM 7 to "Theme Chooser".
- Find the theme and tap "apply".
- As of 12/12, ALL users that use Theme Chooser must send themselves a text, turn USB mode on then off, or reboot the phone in order for the theme to take full effect. YOU MUST DO ONE OF THESE THINGS.
- You are now running the latest version of LST (I hope)!
