To root LG Optimus S LS670ZVH without a computer? Or downgrade and root without PC? Also my power button doesn't work will that effect the process?

not that I know of. You would have to downgrade (might be possible without a pc) but than you would have to run either gingersnap or gingerbreak, which are both Windows apps. If you don't own a computer, you could download http://forums.androidcentral.com/lg-...rt-needed.html directly to your phone (might use a lot of data), than go to a public library, move the application to a pc, than run it. I know that Drew Walton's "Sons of Korhal" application takes like a minute. It's really easy. You could carry one of the applications around on your sd card (they are both fairly small) and than, when you wanted, just plug into a pc, move the application over, and than root away.

I rooted my zvd using the "Terminal Emulator" soon and gingersnap/gingerbreak. It took a couple tries before it took.

you may need to reboot, so your power button might be necessary.

Ya download the update.zip then get the Gingerbreak.apk and root once you downgraded to zvd
