Hi,

For a few weeks my camera is taking pictures that are all blued out. Even when I am ready to take a picture, the screen is all bluish. It is as if I am setting the white balance to incandescent in sunlight.

Changing the white balance to any value doesn't help.

I am sure the camera lens itself is fine, when I shoot using the barcode scanner, I get true colors.

Any guess what could have gone wrong in the stock camera app?

I am on gROM 2.2

This happened to me once. I'm not sure exactly what I did to fix it but I think you should try turning the color effects on and off.

Seems really strange to me. I would backup and either restore an older NAND or do a clean flash of your choice of rom. It that fixes it, just start over and reinstall your apps. If it persists, after all that, it would almost have to be a hardware issue.

Anyway when this happened to me I was on stock froyo so I think maybe just play with the settings more or reset to default camera settings if you haven't already.

Folks,
Thanks for all the suggestions.
I played around with the camera settings and the camera got restored .
Here is what I did-switch to video mode & go to white balance menu. That's it, that did the trick.
