When I was testing out Alpha 5, the battery life was terrible. I think it was due to the app multi-tasking, since I'd find my data intensive apps still open in the background or something. Just my 2 cents here. I probably won't go back to CM9 until it hits beta because even with an extended battery, my phone wouldn't last too long on CM9.

this is what i do. recharge the battery fully the reboot the phone and pull out the power cord

Alpha 5 v 12 was great for me, alpha 6 not so much in battery, awesome in everything else.

So Kraven, any thoughts on adding updating through Goo.im? Could be rather awesome to be able to update the ROM through an app on the device instead of downloading the new ROM and then putting it on the SD Card

Early results, loves, loves, loves my wifi router, even when I tell it not to - turn wifi off, bing, back on and connected before I can reboot.

Does NOT want to connect data. Data toggles and airplane mode toggles w-i-l-l n-o-t s-t-i-c-k, even with immediate boot. Treating me like A1-A5 before V12.

Reset / wipe / format / systemFormatALL.zip. Just A7 and Gapps. @#$%&!*......

Ok, after toggling airplane, fast reboot, untoggle airplane, fast reboot, toggle data, fast reboot, untoggle data, fast reboot, toggle airplane on (symbol shows in status bar -FIRST TIME!) and off, toggle data on and off. At last! 3G in happy Cyan.

Do a6 and/or a7 require/work better after flashing a boot.img? If so, which one?

a7 plus gapps should be good enough. It has the latest boot.img fixes.

It gets stuck on lg splash sometimes. It randomly freezes sometimes and won't unfreeze and I have to pull the battery then it gets stuck again and few battery pulls will fix it

Sounds like you did not wipe / factory reset / format everything. Maybe try again?

First boot is long, but the rest are fast, and no freezes so far. I have not installed any user apps at all yet.

My phone froze on me as well. I wiped everything and flashed debugzip. But overall this rom is kicking **** and taking names.

I have tried ten times and can not download A7 from the Goo inside me link. thekraven is there possibly a mirror link? I keep getting download unsuccessful.

Been messing with this rom quite awhile and been using this site for quite awhile so heres my question is mms still not working or is their a work around or something i love this rom and my only problem is mms cant receive i hit the download it says fail keep trying trying and trying and just consistently fails. So has mms been fixed or is it still being worked on

The app gave me a 7.13 KB download. I know this Rom is bigger than that. I tried it twice with the same results. I can't get this ROM to save my life. The app wont give me the ful download but it says the download is complete and I have tried three different browsers to download it from the link with no success. It keeps stopping at around seventy percent and saying download failed.

Well try as I might, I cannot get data to connect on A7. It shows 3G in status, but Play and browser will not work. Nada. Zip. Zilch.

Goo IM seems to have troubles. I deleted the one that I DLed directly from the app on my phone yesterday.

Just tried the web link in the OP, and it got to 20.3 mb of 70.4 mb and is frozen. Tried to pause the DL in Firefox and it failed because "file could not be read". Tried a second time and it froze again at about 22 mb.

I think you just have to wait. Get ahead on that school work.

I tried a7 last night, but my deal-breaker issue is still present: I cannot put the phone on mute. I also noticed that the power button still hangs up an active call, even though the setting is off. I didn't try bluetooth, but I imagine that it still won't work for calls.
