I haven't played with the default keyboard. I usually immediately install Swype, which has the VtoT button thru DragonGo. But my settings shows Google speech-to-text and Swype are both enabled for my keyboard(s?).

Re: [WIP][ROM]COLD AS ICE-CM9 Sprint LS670 4/5 ZVD basesband Alph
I used to alpha and beta test World of Warcraft. It was cool initially, but all of the bugs and uber-limited content was a serious pain. I usually don't play with the pre-releases because they usually annoy the hell out of me. I'm doing it this time because I have a four-day weekend. Tonight, I'll either nandroid back to CM9a9 or Reborn or run this rom if it proves somewhat stable.
My whole point is: Don't be so ready to jump into something somewhat unstable, it can lead to serious disappointment..."I drank what!?!?!" ~Socrates

Re: [WIP][ROM]COLD AS ICE-CM9 Sprint LS670 4/5 ZVD basesband Alph
alpha10 is running smooth since i flashed last night. using your test kernel kraven. feels like a daily driver now. apps that use the camera also work, the ones i've tested that is.
for me personally, i'm waiting on the theming engine. lol
but once this hits a stable release, i can port some of my themes as flashable zips until the theming engine gets implimented
just a thought, is it going to be the tmobile theme engine or is it going to be something different? i haven't been able to find any thing on that.... - 05-01-2012, 11:42 AM

I must admit, it definitely feels smoother. I did however notice that all the barcode apps won't scan though for some reason, I can see the tag on the preview and the camera starts focusing but it never actually scans it. Microsoft Tag keeps telling me to keep the phone steady but does nothing when it is steady.
Also everything else works great, love the new recent apps switcher btw. It looks amazing.Thanked by: - 05-01-2012, 02:27 PM #1594

Well, for some reason, I get a fantastic signal all of a sudden. I have no idea what happened. One second it was at 1 bar, next it was maxed out. Still is. I haven't changed anything in the past two hours (been doing lawn work)...

I'm dying here! Watching all of you go on and on about the greatness of Alpha10 is like being on a diet and being forced to watch someone eat a big juicy cheeseburger while they describe to you in great detail how delicious it is after every bite.
I've been on alpha9 for about a week and I'm loving it so far. Everything I need for it to be a daily driver works for me. Going back to CM7 is painful (I keep an up-to-date nand of CM7.2 just in case CM9 implodes or something) - it just feels so dated after running this.
Patiently looking forward to public download link (or a PM?? *fingers crossed*) - 05-01-2012, 03:17 PM #1598
Re: [WIP][ROM]COLD AS ICE-CM9 Sprint LS670 4/5 ZVD basesband Alph
There are... issues... with a10 that still need working on. I'm betting that thekraven is very close to tossing his system out the window.

Re: [WIP][ROM]COLD AS ICE-CM9 Sprint LS670 4/5 ZVD basesband Alph
my CM9 imploded. somehow I lost root capabilities, and I decided until the camera was fixed I would go back to CM7. so I make a Nand backup of CM9 only to run out of sd card space mid backup. I didn't realize this right away and reflashed CM7 from a backup I made before installing CM9 which had a md5 mismatch. find out CM9 is borked, CM7 backup is borked and reflashed to a clean CM7 install waiting for CM9 to get released with update. Yay me for not payin attention to things.
(also ended up downloading goo manager from the Play store and checking TheKraven's uploads. found the camera kernel fixes but they didn't work on my optimus s...
) can't wait till 10.
