@thekraven. First, thanks for making my $100 phone better then most $200 phones on the market today.

A10 has been running impeccably now for a day, no random reboots, running at 245/768 smartassv2.

i read over in the quattrimus forums, that tdm has BT working. is this something we can look forward to in alpha 11/beta 1 or perhaps even in the public release of a10?

Battery drain seems to have hit more reasonable levels today. Guess the ROM is settling in. I don't think I've had sync on as much today, either.

I believe A10 was received on a "PM only" basis, meaning that thekraven pm'd certain people to test it for him. Its not available publicly right now.

So to answer your question... no you are not crazy

Exactly. At least, until the link was leaked (which btw was disabled). But enough of that off topic discussion.

I've been in the rain before and a rain drop actually got in the headphone jack and it thought I had headphones plugged in, so the speaker stopped working. Turned off the phone, blew it out, let it sit under a bright lamp to dry for maybe 5 min and it was fine.

Wow that's my luck.....one drop falls perfectly into my phone. Cool it was an easy fix! Ok to post a BUG, while on Alpha 10, powering down while charging reboots back to Android. But other than that this build is Amazing

Great rom, but how to update profile, and PRL after flashing? Because my area is getting 4G and more 3G towers, but I can't update unless flashing back to stock, then back to ICS.

I usually just keep a copy of Reborn on nand backup for those times that my prl and profile need updating.

Yep, cm7 had the same thing, there was a zip to flash to fix that. I wonder if it would work for this, though probably not.

Are you talking about the "Hardware Upgrade" bug or the "Software Upgrade" bug? I can agree with the latter lol, I can't see myself updating to ZVJ until after CM9 is available for it. As for sprint not getting more money out of me, they never did in the first place. My Optimus S was a gift from my cousin, I don't have an account with Sprint so it's pretty much a VoIP phone/mini-tablet

I found that making gmail a system app using link2sd got rid of the disappearing text issue. Just tried it with FB as well since it was giving me similar issues and seems to have helped.

Hardware Upgrade. Having the latest/greatest version of ICS on my phone will keep me tied over for at least a few months, or until prices come down on the HTC EVO 4G LTE

. My wife's phone got the ZVJ OTA a couple of weeks ago and she's actually pretty happy with it (her phone has always been stock). I played with it a little bit and thought it was OK.

On topic:
Running Alpha9 on thekraven's test1 kernel, with data supercharger script in build.prop. OC'd to 787/245 on smartassV2.
Data is still pretty flaky for me. I've ran numerous speed tests in a variety of different situations/locations using the Speedtest.net app. Average DL speed is 150-300, average UL speed 450-600. I got four runs around 750-1000 down, but was never able to repeat it. Don't know if it's just the coverage in my area or if it's a ROM thing. It seems like others are getting much better speeds.
I've also noticed that when coming out of airplane mode, I have to toggle data to get it to connect.
I've had the GMail scrolling text disappearing issue only once - otherwise it has been fine.
No issues charging connected to computer or wall.
Using Apex Launcher with above settings, UI is super-smooth and I've had maybe 3 spontaneous reboots over the past couple of weeks, and I use my phone fairly intensely on my commute (>1 hour train ride twice a day

)
Overall I'm extremely happy with how this is coming along.

I just looked and saw that GMail is already a system app, at least on my phone, and I've only had the disappearing text issue once. Coincidence?
