FYI all, if you're looking for a theme chooser theme, I suggest checking out the Mixer theme on XDA. MrDSL posted an MDPI test and it works really well!

I like it a lot, but the phone app FC's and wont let me make or receive calls.

You will need all the patches also. 10F Latest camera patch, 10F test 2 or 3 boot.img, test 10 kernel, then the camcorder fix. I'll throw it all in one zip later today

Default CM9 music player, or Play Music? Play Music crashed for me every time I tried to stream songs, but it worked fine when I played my music offline.

I knew of the original install instructions but didn't know if there is an order to flash the patches, ie cam fix, camera fix, bluetooth test ect

I haven't used speaker phone my wife brought it to my attention after I rooted and romed her replacement she got today I'm going to do a clean install on mine and I'll let you know

Google Music Force Close Fix

From my research, there is a problem with the Hosts file not being formatted properly. Could be wrong, but I changed the format to Unix text as opposed to the Windows/DOS format it was originally in, and it fixed it.

Use a root file manager to replace the 'hosts' file with the one included in the archive in the /etc/ folder, or use ADB. "adb push hosts /etc/"

You should be ok wiping cache and system. Flash alpha 10G and gapps.

Thanks, I'm still trying to figure out why it worked for some and not others. The kernel scripting mounts the system folder, then deletes the old modules and copies the new modules. If you don't mind flashing the boot.img that gave you no wifi. Then have a look at the /system/lib/module folder and see if there are the 3 modules inside. Or checksum and see if they are the same as in the zip file.

Flashed cm9a10f.test2boot.img. All three files are in /system/lib/modules.

The wireless.ko is bigger in the flash than on the phone (2366KB vs. 2020KB)

The only problem I "see" is in your updater-script (and I can be wrong about it):

How about trying:

delete_recursive("/system/lib/modules/")

I can't remember if i added the audio test 1 patch to alpha G. You may have to flash that.

how can I tell if its added, is there a set of files to look for or a file to open and locate specific changes or lines? just finished initial boot

Headset mic won't work on the new audio libs. But phone mic works
